A new event has begun, and it’s a familiar one for those who have been keeping up with past web events for the game. This one is live until Dec. 13, so here’s everything you need to know about the Traveler’s Picture Book web event in Genshin Impact, including how to start it and its rewards.
Genshin Impact Traveler’s Picture Book Event Guide
This is another winter event to go along with the theme of Shadows Amidst Snowstorms. For this one, all you need to do is open the game and select the Special Event tab in the menu. This will take you directly to the webpage for the event.
Much like the past Picture Book event from earlier this year, this one will have you collecting colors to paint a picture. Select the Get More Colors option on the main page to see what tasks need to be completed in order to earn colors. You need at least four colors to paint a part of the picture, and more tasks get added each day.
The tasks are done in-game and, as you can see above, they can range from finishing expeditions at the Adventurer’s Guild to completing your four Daily Commissions.
Traveler’s Picture Book Event Rewards
The rewards for this event are just about what you’d expect — you’ll be earning Primogems, Mora, character level-up materials, and weapon enhancement materials for your troubles.
As the painting on the main page gets filled in, rarer rewards will be unlocked. This is based on percentage, as shown in the image below. Claim your rewards here and they’ll appear in your mailbox in-game after a short while.
However, as the painting reaches certain levels of completion, Hilichurls will come to take your items. Driving them away will earn you Snowman Decoration that can be used in your personalized picture book.
