Is There a Sandbox Mode in Frostpunk?

Recommended Videos

Frostpunk has you taking care of a city being ravaged by the cold. You’re going to have to make tough choices in order to make sure the most amount of people survive. It’s a ton of fun once you get going with it, and you’re likely wondering how you can just play forever with one city if you wanted to. Don’t worry, we have the answer here.

Within the game, you’re able to play through distinct stories that will have you completing objectives, all the while facing an increase in difficulty. Currently, Frostpunk shows three scenarios:

  • A New Home
  • The Arks
  • The Refugees

There’s a fourth one noted as coming soon and the developers have already confirmed there will definitely be future expansions and updates. Unfortunately, though, as of right now there is no sandbox mode. That’s not to say that there won’t be one added in, but your best bet will be to play through the scenarios for now.

That’s all there is to Frostpunk’s lack of a sandbox mode! If you need more help with the game, let us know in the comments below and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
