Fortnite Season 5 is nearing its end date as Week 9 has just rolled out. There’s no better time to clear your Battle Pass and save those V-Bucks for the next season, so you’ll want to be finishing up every weekly challenge. Strangely enough, we still haven’t gotten our new set of goals for this week. If you’re wondering why they aren’t in the game, here’s where the Fortnite Season 5 Week 9 challenges are.

If your game isn’t displaying the new set of challenges this week – don’t worry, it isn’t just you. While the developers were going to roll out the new set of goals this week, Epic ran into some sort of “critical controller issue.” As such, Epic Games had to move the new Fortnite High Stakes event and the latest V5.40 patch to today, Sept. 6.

The Fortnite Season 5 Week 9 challenges, on the other hand, have unfortunately been delayed. Players won’t have to wait too long, however, as they will be rolling out the challenges tomorrow on Sept. 7.

For now, players can play the High Stakes event and enjoy the brand new game mode while waiting for the new challenges. It’s worth noting that the game mode will also come with its own set of challenges, along with a brand-new Grappler, so there are plenty of things to do before the Fortnite Season 5 Week 9 Challenges roll around.

With Week 10 on the horizon, players have a few more weeks to earn all of the cosmetics from Worlds Collide. Players can probably expect some new content and cosmetics once Season 6 finally launches, and the mysterious purple cube might play a big part in what’s to come.
