The Fortnite Octo Wrap is one of the coolest-looking cosmetics you can get for your weapons and vehicles in the Battle Royale title. Problem is, it’s incredibly rare and cannot simply be bought from the in-game Item Shop. In this guide, we’ll run you through how to get the Octo Wrap in Fortnite.
Getting the Octo Wrap Skin in Fortnite
Currently, the Octo Wrap skin can only be obtained by watching the streams of certain partnered Twitch streamers for 15 minutes during certain times and dates.
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, the Octo Wrap skin is no longer available as a Twitch Drop, but that’s not to say it won’t be made available again at a later date.
Should this change, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know. The list of partnered streamers from the most recent drop were as follows:
This is only the second time the Octo Wrap skin has been made available. The first time was back in April when players could earn it by watching the Twitch Rivals Super Games streams.
Whether or not it will be made available again in the future remains to be seen.
Linking Your Twitch & Epic Games Accounts
In order to obtain any Twitch Drops — including the Octo Wrap skin — for Fortnite, you’ll need to connect your Twitch and Epic Games accounts. This must be done before watching one of the Drop Enabled Twitch Streams listed above.
To do this, follow the below steps:
- Head to the Epic Games’ Connected Accounts Page while signed in.
- Click the ‘Connect’ button below the Twitch icon.
- Choose to ‘Link Your Account’ and enter your Twitch account’s registered email address and password.
- Click ‘Authorize’
You should now be able to claim any Twitch Drops for Fortnite by meeting the viewing requirements, such as simply watching the stream for 15 minutes. Keep in mind that you don’t need to have a Twitch Prime account in order to claim the rewards for watching Twitch Drop enabled streams.
