How to Start Fortnite Lantern Trials

If you took part in the Zero Build Trials, you just need to follow the same process. For everyone coming at this fresh, you’ll want to head to the Lantern Trials website and log-in to the Epic Games account that your Fortnite profile/account is linked to. Once you are signed in, you’re good to go.

There is a disclaimer that tells you what modes are allowed:

“Available Playlists: Any Battle Royale Mode and Zero Build. Does not include any other Fortnite game mode or playlist.”

All Fortnite Lantern Trials Challenges

There will be five days of challenges for players to work on with stretch goals offered each day. The challenges are completed for “points.”

You get one point and the base emoticon reward for accomplishing the given challenge once. So, in the example above, you need to get one elimination to get the Brawlin’ Bunny in-game cosmetic emoticon.

Stretch Goals Explained

However, the second higher point total given (35 in the image above) is what you will need to achieve for that day’s stretch reward.

These Stretch goals will change each day, and we’ll list them alongside what’s required for each Lantern Trial challenge below.

Lantern Trials Challenge 1

Get eliminations. Each elimination is one point and the stretch goal is 35 points.

Lantern Trials Challenge 2

Deal damage. Every 100 damage dealt is one point and the stretch goal is 100 points (10,000 damage).

Lantern Trials Challenge 3

Place Top 7 in Duos modes. Two top 7 placements is a point. The stretch goal is 6 points (12 top 7s).

Lantern Trials Challenge 4

Survive Storm Circles. Four Storm Circles survived is one point. The stretch goal is 10 points (40 Storm Circles survived).

Lantern Trials Final Challenge

Get top 6 in Squads modes. Three top 6 placements is a single point. The stretch goal is 4 points (12 top 6s).
