How to Get Hop Rocks & What They Do in Fortnite Battle Royale

Fortnite Battle Royale’s Season 4 has finally arrived, and the comets have rained down across the iconic map. Dusty Depot no longer exists and has been replaced by a huge crater known as Dusty Divot. While it’s certainly a cool place to go and check out, there’s something more interesting lurking here, and they’re known as Hop Rocks. Here’s how to get these special space rocks and what they do in Fortnite Battle Royale.

Hop Rocks essentially give players the ability to jump higher for longer in Fortnite Battle Royale. Think of a zero-gravity ability of sorts and you’re on the right track. To get these space rocks, you need to look out for them around Dusty Divot. You can find these on the outskirts of the new area, and they’ll be glowing a deep blue color. Simply hold X on Xbox One or Square on PS4 (E for you PC players) to consume the Hop Rocks. Once you have, you’ll get the jump boost for about 30 seconds or so before it dies off.

That’s all you need to know to get Hop Rocks in Season 4. For more on Fortnite Battle Royale, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
