Can You Download Mods in Fortnite?

Recommended Videos

Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode is seemingly taking over the gaming world, with even stars like Drake jumping on to play alongside Twitch streamers. If you haven’t played it before, the free game sees you take on 99 other players on one map, scrambling to be the first to powerful weapons in an attempt to be the last one alive and get that all important ‘Victory Royale’. However, if you’re familiar with the game and have sunk tens of hours into it, you may be wondering if you can switch up your experience with the use of mods. Here’s everything you need to know.

Unfortunately, as of now, there’s no mod options in Fortnite. You cannot change the map, the weapons you find, nor the appearance of your character, without the use of the in-game items. There has been no indication from Epic about whether they plan to implement mods in the future but, considering the structure of the game and the paid content, it is unlikely that they ever will. If that changes, however, we will update this piece here.

That’s all you need to know about whether Fortnite features mods. For more on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
