Can You Fix Controller Vibration & What it Is in Fortnite Battle Royale

Recommended Videos

With update 3.4 for Fortnite Battle Royale now out in the wild, many players will be ticking off the new challenges or experimenting with the new weapons. Unfortunately, there does seem to be some kind of issue with controller vibration right now that’s plaguing players’ games.

From what we can tell, the controller vibration in Fortnite Battle Royale currently can’t be fixed on your end. At least, it can’t be without turning off your controller vibration settings entirely through your Xbox.

To do this on Xbox One, press the Xbox button and head to System Settings. Go to Ease of Access, then Controller, and then Vibration settings. Select your controller, and use the Configure option. Finally, head to Edit, then Vibration, and move the slider all the way down.

As for PS4 users, you’ll need to go to Settings, Devices, and then Controllers. Here, you can simply disable vibration under the self-named option.

As for what the controller vibration has been caused by, we’d suspect it’s some kind of bug that’s come as part of Fortnite Battle Royale’s 3.4 update. The development team has yet to comment on the matter, but we’ll be sure to update this post just as soon as they do.

That’s all you need to know to fix controller vibration issues on Fortnite Battle Royale at the moment. For more on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
