How to Get into the Beta – For Honor

Recommended Videos

You may have heard that this weekend, Ubisoft is hosting a closed beta for its upcoming hack and slash online title, For Honor. Of course, with the game not being out until Feb. 14, many players will eagerly want to know exactly how they can get involved in the action. Well, we’ve got some good news and some bad news for you.

The bad news is if you wanted to get a code relatively hassle-free, your window of opportunity has passed. Ubisoft was giving out For Honor beta codes through a “Scars” website. It told you a little bit about the game and then saw your design your very own weapon at the end, before asking for your details so the code could be sent to you. Another wave of beta codes were given out prior to this, but that window has also closed.

That doesn’t mean you’re completely out of luck, though. If you know a friend who is in the beta, they should be able to invite up to three friends to join them on the battlefield. There are some limitations to this, however. First, you’ll need to be on the same platform as the person who is inviting you, and second, if they signed up through the “Scars” site, they won’t actually be able to invite you.

It’s also worth keeping an eye out on both the Ubisoft and For Honor Twitter accounts just in case they start giving away codes over the weekend.
