How to Use SP – Fire Emblem Heroes

Recommended Videos

As you’ve been making your way through the maps of Fire Emblem Heroes, you may have noticed that your characters have earned SP when leveling up. The game doesn’t make a point of telling you what this is, but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

SP stands for Skill Points, and is essentially what you’ll need to unlock new skills for your heroes. Skills come in two types: Passive and Active. Passive skills will activate and buff your hero as soon as they are equipped, whereas Active ones will require the hero to perform a set number of actions on a map.

To use your SP in Fire Emblem Heroes, all you need to do is select the Allies tab at the bottom of the screen and then tap the Learn Skills option. From here, select the hero who you’d like to learn a new skill and press next. Then, scroll down the list and simply select the new skill that you want to learn. Confirm the purchase and you’ll now be able to equip the skill to a character.

That’s all there is to SP and how to use it in Fire Emblem Heroes. For more tips, information, and guides for the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
