How to Recruit Python in Fire Emblem Echoes

Recommended Videos

Archers are incredibly useful units in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia that have some serious range. Seeing as there’s only two of them in the game, besides villagers you can promote, you’ll definitely want to snatch them both up. On Alm’s side of the map you can recruit Python, a lazy and aloof archer who’s a member of the resistance. Despite his personality, however, he can easily become one of the most useful members of your army.

You’ll first meet Python when arriving at the Deliverance Hideout dungeon in Act 2, where he’ll greet you and give you a bit of information. At this point, proceed through the dungeon and get to the end, then watch the story scenes. After you complete the area, you’ll be taken out to the world map. Now what you need to do is reenter the Deliverance Hideout and talk to Python at the entrance. There, you’ll be given the option of recruiting him into your army. Archers’ ranges can eventually reach up 5-6 spaces away, making them invaluable for defeating hard to reach enemies.
