How to Do Flair Shots and Score in FIFA 18

One of the most enjoyable things in FIFA 18 is when you humiliate your opponent with a great piece of skill. Whether it be a skill move or a flair shot, knowing how to show off while playing helps you win and frustrate the opposition.

A flair shot is just another word for pulling off a trick shot. A rabona shot, back heel, or scoop finish are all good examples. These aren’t necessarily powerful or easy, but look classy and are embarrassing to concede, so here’s how you pull them off.

First, you’ll want to ensure that you have enough room in the box so that you can time the button presses perfectly. When you’re in a comfortable position where you’re pretty sure you’ll be able to score no matter what, hold down the L2/LT button while you press the Circle/B button. With a little bit of luck, your player will pull off a flair shot. A great time to attempt a flair shot is once you’ve received a pass across the face of goal, which ensures that the goalkeeper is out of position.

If you don’t score the first time, you may find that you need to be more deliberate in pressing and holding both buttons at the same time. If you don’t get it perfect your player will just shoot normally. If it turns into a goal it’s no big deal, but it won’t look quite as classy as a flair shot.
