Is Andrij Lunin in FIFA 18? What You Need to Know
Real Madrid may have only just sold Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus, but they have already begun planning for the future with some young signings that many football fans probably haven’t heard of before. Last week, they signed Vinicius Jr. from Flamengo in Brazil, after waiting for his 18th birthday to pass, and they have now confirmed the signing of Andrij Lunin from Zorya Luhansk. If you’re a fan of Real Madrid, you may be wondering whether Lunin is in FIFA 18, so that you can add him to your squad, online or off.
Unfortunatley, Andrij Lunin isn’t currently available in FIFA 18, but that will probably change very soon. Since he has made his way to Spain from the Ukrainian League, his club isn’t featured in the game. There’s only one Ukrainian club that is significantly represented in FIFA 18, and that is Shaktar Donetsk. The Ukrainian League isn’t well represented because it’s not seen as popular enough, nor are there enough good players to make much of an affect on players’ teams. With Zorya Luhansk not in the game, neither will Andrij Lunin be.
However, you can expect that to change soon, at least for Ultimate Team. EA Sports is in the process of adding all the new transfers into the game. Cristiano Ronaldo now has a Juventus ST card, so Lunin is likely to get a card of his own sometime soon. Exactly when that will be, we don’t know, but you can expect it over the next week or so. We’ll update you as soon as it appears. As for online modes in FIFA 18, you’ll probably have to wait until next year, when the Real Madrid squad is fully updated.
