How to Get More Clothes & Outfits in Far Cry 5

Recommended Videos

For the first time in the series, you can alter your character’s clothes and outfits in Far Cry 5. You’ve always been able to customize your weapons, since the action was the focus, but you can now choose from a variety of options to have your character look just as you like.

What you need to do to get more clothes and outfits is look for a General Shop. They are marked on both Far Cry 5’s compass bar at the top of the screen and the main map by a green icon with a white gun in it. Once you’re there, press triangle (or Y if you’re on Xbox One) to interact with the person there. A menu will then appear and you’ll be able to cycle to the ‘clothes’ section.

Here, you can buy new threads or entirely new outfits with the cash you’ve earned in game, or with the Silver Bars (the game’s premium currency) you’ve found. You can also get a few extra pieces of clothing by going through Ubisoft Club catalogue, which you can access by pressing Options and accessing the self-titled option.

It’s also worth noting that some of Far Cry 5’s missions will reward players with entirely new outfits or pieces of clothing, too, so always be sure to see what’s available at the General Store.
