How to Repair Prickett’s Fort Token Dispenser in Fallout 76
Update: The Prickett’s Fort token dispenser is no longer bugged following the Nov. 19 patch. You can now fix it in Fallout 76 as you should have always been able to.
Those who’ve following the Bureau of Tourism quest are probably scratching your head wondering how to repair a token dispenser. If you’re having trouble, here’s how to repair the Prickett’s Fort token dispenser in Fallout 76.
Players who have been traveling north of the map toward Grafton might have already stumbled across the city mayor. If you’ve spoken with him, he’ll offer you a quest called the Bureau of Tourism. The first thing you’ll have to do is open the water valve at Waby Willard’s Waterpark.
Once that’s done, you’ll have to go over to the shooting range and pick up some beer bottles. Things get pretty complicated afterward, as you’ll have to repair the Prickett’s Fort token dispenser and get it running again.
If you can’t repair the machine, don’t worry – you aren’t the only one. Apparently, there’s an ongoing bug that won’t let players repair the Prickett’s Fort token dispenser, meaning this Fallout 76 quest is pretty much stuck in limbo. There’s no way to skip this segment or find a fix for it whatsoever.
On top of that, the Bureau of Tourism quest has been bugged since the Fallout 76 beta. Bethesda hasn’t got around to making a fix for it, although they have already acknowledged the issue. Fans can probably expect a patch for this Fallout 76 quest in the near future, but for now, they’re probably better off completing another mission.
When this bug is all patched up, to actually repair the token dispenser, it should just be a case of pressing A on Xbox One, or X on PS4 when standing in front of it to interact with and repair the machine.
How to Get More Quests and Missions
Fallout 76 is packed with all sorts of different missions, so you won’t have to keep dwelling on that bugged Bureau of Tourism quest. For starters, you can always follow the main mission to get the ball rolling. As you continue playing the main quest, you’ll unlock more story missions along the way.
If you’re looking for side quests, on the other hand, you can try exploring the wasteland or listen to any holotapes you might find lying around. Since there aren’t any NPCs in Fallout 76, these are the best ways to get more side quests.
Similarly, you can also embark on special radio quests by tuning into radio signals. You can find these signals scattered around West Virginia, which your Pip-Boy will pick up.
We’ll be updating this post as soon as Bethesda adds in a patch to repair the Prickett’s Fort token dispenser. For more tips and tricks on Fallout 76, be sure to check out our expansive wiki for more useful guides.
