How to Get Circuitry in Fallout 76
There is a lot of junk scattered around the empty settlements of Fallout 76. Luckily, you can turn that junk into valuable scrap, like circuitry, that can be used to improve your weapons and armor or build yourself a nice cozy base. However, before you can do that, you’ll need to know what to look out for on your travels through Appalachia so that you don’t amass a collection of random pre-war oddities that do you no good. Here’s what you need to know about how to get circuitry in Fallout 76.
Uses for Circuitry
Circuitry is used for almost anything electronic that you may build at your CAMP. Though your campsite may start out basic, soon you may have more mechanized structures in place, and the majority of them will need circuitry for their construction. Repairing any damaged electronics may require it as well, so it’s a crucial resource to make your CAMP progressively more high-tech.
How to Get Circuitry
Certain junk items will provide circuitry once you break them down for scrap at workbenches in Fallout 76. The following is a list of junk items that can give you circuity once broken down:
- Circuit boards
- Hot plates
- Targeting cards
- Telephones
You can find these items scattered around randomly in various locations or containers, so make sure you check everywhere. Any robotic enemies like Protectrons or Mr. Farmhands may also drop them as well. A good early place to try and collect some of these items is Flatwoods, where you can find plenty of level 1 Mr. Farmhands to kill.
If you need to generate more circuitry, you can equip the Scrapper perk card to try and get more scrap from junk items. You can view our guide on how to equip perk cards and our list of perk cards for more information.
That’s all you need to know about collecting circuitry out in the wasteland of West Virginia in Fallout 76. Circuitry can be an important piece of scrap if you love toying with gadgets in Fallout 76, so keep an eye out for any of these junk items whenever possible.
