When the Fallout 76 Beta Finishes (Xbox One, PS4, PC)

With Fallout 76, Bethesda is boldly taking an age-old franchise into new territory. What has always been a single-player experience is being transformed into a MMORPG. Players will now be taking on the apocalyptic wastelands with friends, and being challenged by rival players looking to get the better of them in PvP action. Unsurprisingly, the change of pace has prompted many to want to try the game’s beta. Here’s when the Fallout 76 beta finishes and what end date you’ll need to play it by on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

First, do remember that in order to play the beta you’ll need to have pre-ordered the game. You can’t simply access the beta without first committing to purchase Fallout 76 first.

We’ve written a more extensive guide on how to access the beta once you have, but essentially you need to register over at Bethesda.

As for when the beta takes place: Fallout 76’s beta won’t run 24/7. Instead, it’s being held in allocated session times that run from four to eight hours across individual platforms.

Each platform has its own slot, so it’s important you know which one applies to you. Let’s break it down:

Xbox One

  • Oct. 27 – 5 pm ET to 7 pm ET (5 pm EST to 4 pm PT / 10 pm to 12 am UK)
  • Oct.  28 – 12 pm ET to 2 pm ET (9 am PT to 11 am PT / 5 pm to 7 PM UK)

Bethesda still hasn’t actually confirmed session times for PS4 or PC, except to say that it will certainly be available from Oct. 30.

So don’t fear if you’re playing the beta on either of those platforms as it hasn’t kicked off yet.

Xbox One players have already had one of their slots finish, which went live on Oct. 23.

So if you’re playing on Microsoft’s console and you want to play the Fallout 76 beta, make sure you log on for either the Oct. 27 or 28 slots.

That’s all the information we have for when the Fallout 76 beta finishes and what end date you’ll need to play it by on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. For more useful guides on the game, search Twinfinite.
