  14. Lunagaron
  15. Garangolm
  16. Malzeno

Now that we’ve listed them all, we’ll go over each of them in a bit more detail.

Gore Magala

Gore Magala possesses wings with a black, shroud-like membrane. They lack visual receptors, and so to make up for this they heighten their senses by scattering scales from their wings to ascertain the locations of lifeforms. At the peak of their senses, feelers extend from their head, their wings unfurl, and they become frenzied.

By this point, the Gore Magala has used its scales to precisely detect where its opponents may lie.
In their frenzied state, Gore Magala is known to slam into the ground powerfully enough to cause the earth to rupture and protrude, using their massive claws to attempt to subdue foes or prey, or unleash a variety of other devastating attacks.

Espinas

Flying Wyverns are known for the red spikes on their tough green frame, forming both a means of attack and defense, thus generally keeping foes at bay. As a result, they are often seen sprawled out and relaxing in their domain.

Once they sense danger, however, they expand their blood vessels to turn their hide and wing membranes a bright red, and they will run riot with noteworthy brutality. Espinas is notable for this dual nature of theirs—unconcerned by their surroundings to the extent that they sleep openly and often, but also capable of displaying a profoundly savage nature when they feel threatened.

Daimyo Hermitaur

Large Carapaceons that live in coastal regions and sandy soil. Daimyo Hermitaurs use their massive claws to guard themselves against enemy attacks.

These creatures wear wyvern skulls on their backs, unlike the shells carried in their infancy. These shells serve not only as protection but also as a method for attacking prey.

Pyre Rakna-Kadaki

A subspecies of Rakna-Kadaki filled with explosive material, their bodies are covered in a dark red, explosion-resistant webbing. On offense, they strike their forelimbs like flints to induce explosions.

An advanced chain of command lets them direct their offspring with a special sound-producing organ. Connecting special detonation threads to offspring in the area lets them expand the explosive area to their positions.

Shagaru Magala

The form taken by Gore Magala once they mature and molt. Gorgeous, glittering scales cover Shagaru Magala, and their divine wings are large enough to wrap around their entire body.

According to records, one was once said to have scattered its black scales over an area the size of a mountain, annihilating any and all lifeforms inhabiting that region.

Scorned Magnamalo

A Magnamalo variant that achieves an even more twisted, malevolent form. Shrouded in Hellfire at all times, they also boast larger arm blades and harder armor plating. During battles, they have been spotted focusing their Hellfire and swinging it like a blade.

Scorned Magnamalo are much more aggressive than their standard counterpart, and have a greater mastery over Hellfire. It can now also shoot condensed Hellfire beams from its tail very rapidly, in a fashion that covers a large area.

Furious Rajang

A Rajang variant covered in golden fur. Normally Rajang return to their black-furred state after being agitated for a time to conserve energy, but these beasts have lost the ability to curb their anger.

Outclassing the standard Rajang’s attack power, they assault with seething rage. At the apex of their fury, they become enraged and turn into destructive demons with electrified manes.

Seregios

Seregios are well-known as extremely territorial and belligerent creatures, often engaging in intense combat against other large monsters. Be especially careful when they launch their scales from their body. Some of their attacks cause the Bleeding status, draining the hunter’s health.

Seregios is a highly-developed aerial hunter. It is fierce and aggressive towards both prey and foes alike. It is known to attempt to overtake the territories of other monsters, and asserts an apex role over its environment.

Aurora Somnacanth

Aurora Somnacanth is similar in appearance to the Somnacanth; however, its body is pale yellow, while its fins are ice-blue with some dark purple gradient. The bioluminescence is white instead of light blue, and frost can be seen forming on its head-crest and tail.

Light illuminates the dust scattered around these subspecies, making their fantastical appearance shimmer softly. Aurora Somnacanth sprays icy blasts in place of sleeping powder, attacking all who dare enter their territory.

Magma Almudron

Magma Almudron live in the Lava Caverns, manipulating rocks, unlike normal Almudron.
They secrete a special liquid that melts the ground, allowing them to move freely through the earth.

It can also dig into the hot volcanic ground, and by doing so, causes some of its body parts to heat up. It can also be seen holding a magma ball with its tail, in the fashion in which normal Almudron holds a mud ball.

Astalos

Large Flying Wyverns with crest-shaped organs that can be vibrated to build and store vast amounts of electricity. Astalos vibrate these organs on their head, forked tail, and brilliant wings to charge the respective body part with electricity, yielding tremendous strength and an amplified attack range.

Violent to a fault, witnesses have observed them using all their might to drive intruders from their territory.

Blood Orange Bishaten

Named for their auburn fur, these Bishaten subspecies stuff their belly pouches with pinecones. They use these pinecones to pelt hunters with and then use their breath attacks to ignite them. The main difference between Blood Orange Bishaten and the normal Bishaten is the Blood Orange Bishaten’s ability to breathe fire.

Another key difference is that instead of throwing persimmons, Blood Orange Bishaten throws highly explosive pinecones which it can ignite with its fire breath or through impact force. Blood Orange Bishaten can masterfully spin these pinecones around itself like a top. The pinecones can also be stuck to the ground like mines that can be later set off.

Shogun Ceanataur

Large Carapaceons that originally appeared in Monster Hunter 2, known for using wyvern skulls for their shells.

Shogun Ceanataur attack their prey with long, sharp claws which are strong enough to bore holes through solid rock. Very rarely, they may also drop precious pearls.

Lunagaron

An azure-colored Fanged Wyvern with an organ that chills the air it inhales, which then circulates throughout its body in a unique form of thermoregulation. It can travel long distances and endure significant environmental changes, allowing them to occupy a wide range of habitats.

Garangolm

A monster characterized by its massive and rigid body. Their sap-like fluids can promote plant growth, forging a symbiotic relationship with flora that grows in their bodies. They can also use that sap to harden plants or the surrounding soil, outfitting their bodies and enhancing their attacks.

Malzeno

An elder dragon covered with elegant silver scales. It drains the life energy of other living creatures, creeping around at night and attacking its prey from behind. Though Malzeno appears regal at a glance, it takes on a more sinister appearance after draining enough energy.
