Starlight Shards Elden Ring

Stormhill

Head towards the edge of the cliff southwest of Stormhill Shack, and you will find an altar at the cliff where a Starlight Shard is located.

Agheel Lake South

The cliffside southeast of the Agheel Lake South Site of Grace is another place to get a Starlight Shard. Just be wary of the many enemies that surround the area.

Weeping Peninsula

Start from the Beside the Crater-Pocked Glade Site of Grace in the Weeping Peninsula, and go south until you reach the altar.

Liurnia of the Lakes

Head north of the Liurnia Highway North Site of Grace, and another Starlight Shard will be yours for the taking.

There will be plenty of Starlight Shards that can be collected on the ground near the Cathedral of Manus Celes. You will head here as part of Ranni’s questline, so keep an eye out.

Caelid

Located west of the Caelid Highway South Site of Grace, you will find an altar with a Starlight Shard lying in the open.

There is also another Starlight Shard to be collected in the area just southeast of the Beastial Sanctum near the cliffside.

Mountaintop of the Giants

Start from the Shaded Castle Ramparts Site of Grace, and head southwest towards the swamps. Circle around the castle to the north, and you will find an altar there with your prize.

Another Starlight Shard is located northeast of the Foot of the Forge Site of Grace. Look around the cliffside and beware of the enemies that can catch you off guard.

Mt. Gelmir

This is in the area where you will fight the Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast. This can be accessed quickly from the Ninth Mt. Gelmir Campsite Site of Grace and using the nearby Spirit Spring to make the high jump to the top of the crater.

What Starlight Shards Are Used for in Elden Ring

As a Consumable, you can utilize the Starlight Shards to recover FP gradually, however, it has a much more valuable use. The Starlight Shards can be used to obtain Spirit Ashes from Seluvis, which requires the discovery of his puppet laboratory.

Starlight Shards Elden Ring Seluvis

Now that his secret puppet obsession is revealed, he will offer to sell his Spirit Ashes summons for Starlight Shards. Here is his selection for sale:
