If you’ve played Dynasty Warriors before, then you’re well aware of the different weapons that you can get for each of your warriors. With Dynasty Warriors 9, the concept is no different. You’re still going to have a wide array of weapons to equip, and of course… Legendary or Epic weapons are back. Since the game has changed up a lot, though, here’s how to get them this time around.

In order to get them, you’ll need to have the recipes for them. You can do this by heading over to the Coin Collector in any major city and trading in your yibiqian coins for any Epic recipe, and your daobi coins for any Legendary recipe in Dynasty Warriors 9. Then, once you have the appropriate ones, you can head over to a blacksmith and craft it. Keep in mind that you’ll need multiple copies of the recipes in order to successfully craft Legendary and Epic weapons. There are also multiple Legendary weapons for you to choose from, while Epic weapons are just one of a kind.

That’s not the only way to get these recipe scrolls in Dynasty Warriors 9, of course, it’s just the most sure fire way to get the scroll you want. You can get them randomly by chance when defeating famous officers, and sometimes they’ll even be the reward for completing a quest.
