Here’s everything you need to know about how to get Super Saiyan Blue in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

With the myriad of transformations available in Dragon Ball Z, it can be hard to keep track of them all. Some of them have become the stuff of legend (Super Saiyan), while others were quickly forgotten (Zarbon turning slightly bigger and considerably uglier).

Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, or the much smoother sounding Super Saiyan Blue, belongs to the former group, proving to be so popular, it was dangled as a preorder bonus for Dragon Ball FighterZ.

However, thanks to the latest update in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, you can also go Super Saiyan Blue in this game, too.

In Xenoverse 2, any Saiyan character is now able to achieve this lofty form as of update 1.14, but actually filling the checklist for it is easier said than done.

For starters, only characters at level 90 or higher will qualify, in an effort to emphasize the sheer power required.

You will also have to max out your Friendship level with the trainer Whis before he will consider gifting you with this ability in Xenoverse 2.

Once you have fulfilled these mandates, speaking with Whis will allow you to unlock Super Saiyan Blue for your Saiyan fighter. In this form, your power level is increased astronomically, though at the cost of Ki being constantly drained the whole time.

Balancing the risk and reward will prove crucial to using the awesome strength of this ability effectively.
