HOW TO PLAY ONLINE MULTIPLAYER IN DRAGON BALL FIGHTERZ
Dragon Ball FighterZ promises to be one of the standout fighting games of 2018, blending 2.5D Street Fighter-like beat em’ up action with the awesome roster of colorful characters from the iconic Dragon Ball Z universe. As you’d expect, each of those characters packs their own devastating special moves with impressive animations that look like they’re taken straight out of the famous nineties anime. Players can finally act out all the epic showdowns they’ve ever wanted to see, steering their favorite characters to victory. But this isn’t just restricted the campaign and local multiplayer options. You’ll also be able to challenge other players around the world via an online multiplayer.
In Dragon Ball FighterZ, online multiplayer matchmaking is done via the battle arena. Enter the arena by selecting the option from the main menu, where you’ll find yourself in a circular social space. Other players in the server are represented by their avatar, and you’ll be able to see their game tag above each avatar. Players that are engaged in a match are represented by their two avatars punching in the middle of the ring, and when you see one avatar run over to another, that means they’ve accepted a match and are now fighting. All you need to do is simply wait until Dragon Ball FighterZ matchmakes a battle for you, at which time it will pop up with a bar informing you of a match. From there, simply Confirm or refuse by hitting “Don’t Fight” by pressing X or Circle (PS4).
