If you want to get into the various safes dotted around the world of Karnaca, you’ll need to find the combination for each one. Unlike other games that will use the same combination across all games, Dishonored 2 randomly generates the combination for each player, meaning you’ll need to find the sequence jotted down somewhere in the nearby environment.

The Overseer’s office safe combination can be found in Chapter 2 on the same floor as the safe itself. All you need to do is make your way over to the dark room with what looks like a large white projection screen up on the wall. The table in this room will be covered in different books and bits of information you can read, including the safe combination.

Once the game informs you that you’ve found the combination, open up the mission clues by pressing the touchpad on the DualShock 4, or the Views button on the Xbox One controller. It should clearly detail the combination number here and then all you need to do is head back around and enter the combination into the safe.

As long as you’ve read the numbers correctly, the safe will pop open and you’ll be able to take the spoils of your efforts.
