How to Get Money & Stay in the Motel as Kara in Detroit Become Human

Recommended Videos

Detroit Become Human gets real right quick with Kara and Alice being fugitives on the run. You’ll need to decide where they’ll spend the night to wait out the stormy weather, and if you choose the motel for them, they’re going to need some cash first. Here’s how to get that in order to stay in the motel in Detroit Become Human.

First and foremost, I want to make sure you’ve already gone to the laundromat to change clothes. You won’t be able to get into the motel looking like an android. Next, head to the 24 hour convenience store and talk to the clerk. Ask him for help and he’ll deny giving you the $40 you need. But you can always take it, of course…

You can use Alice as a diversion by looking at the stack of lemon soda cans (press L1 near them). Then, talk to Alice and ask her to create a diversion. She’ll knock them over and the cashier will waltz on over to her.

While they’re talking, interact with the counter and you’ll sneakily steal a $50 bill. Voila, you’ve got your in to the motel. Alice won’t be too happy you both stole, but she’ll get over it if you apologize right away, just a heads-up.

That’s all there is to it! Enjoy the comforts that room 28 provides. If you need more help with Detroit Become Human, hit us up in the comments down below. Alternatively, check out our comprehensive wiki for more tips, tricks, and information on Detroit Become Human.
