How to Get All Tags – Destiny: The Dawning

The Dawning brought gifts big and small to Destiny, and if you happen upon some of the larger ones in the Tower, you’ll notice you can’t open them without special tags.

These gifts, found by the huge doors that used to lead to the Iron Banner, will require you grind through some of The Dawning’s Competitive Spirit Record Book. Amanda Holliday in the Tower hanger if you still need to pick up your Record Book.

At various levels of the Record Book, you’ll unlock the tags you need. You can reach greater levels by completing various tasks in the book, which covers challenges from within the Sparrow Racing League to the updated Strikes. Make sure to manually select the challenge node inside the book once it’s complete, though, so that your Record Book progress increases.

Level 5 will award you with Amanda’s Tag, Level 7 gives you Xur’s Tag, and Level 9 gives you Saladin’s Tag. You can now use these to unlock the gifts, get some neat rewards, and even begin new quests. Amanda’s box includes legendary engrams, a festive horn, and a Treasures of the Dawning loot box. Xur’s box will begin the quest to obtain the Nova Mortis (Voidlord) gun.
