How to Level Up Fast in Destiny 2
Destiny 2 is finally here, and guardians everywhere are gearing up to bring the fight to Ghaul in the hopes of reclaiming the Tower, the Traveler, and anything else that was lost. Of course, in order to bring a fight to anyone, you’re going to have to level up, and you’re going to have to do so quickly. There are a lot of challenges waiting for players out there, and you’re going to want to be as strong as possible to take them down.
Luckily, it’s not overly difficult to level up, especially if you’re playing with some friends. There happens to be a lot of activities for players to get into while exploring planets this time around, and all provide a decent amount of experience. There are also story missions to get through which will help you with a nice chunk of it. However, some story stuff is level-locked, so you’re going to need alternate means every now and then. Below are some ways to level up very quickly in Destiny 2.
Heroic Public Events – Sure, public events reward a solid chunk of EXP on their own to help you level up, but it’s nothing compared to what Destiny 2’s heroic versions provide. You can level up after just a few of these, and since the Director tracks them, it’s easy to jump from one to the next.
Adventures – While these can’t be repeated, they’re still worth running through for the time they’re around. Not only will you get some interesting story and plot details, but you’ll get great rewards and a nice chunk of EXP to help level up your guardian.
Lost Sectors – These can be repeated and are worth doing so, especially the ones you know are a bit shorter. Charge in, beat the boss inside, collect your loot, then run to the next one.
There are, of course, other means of earning experience in Destiny 2 in order to level up, but they aren’t exactly fast. Things like the Crucible and Strikes, or just running around killing things will take an enormous amount of time to get you to level up to where you want to be. Stick with exploration, especially on a planet like IO, where enemies are a bit tougher, and you’ll be level 20 in no time.
