How to Play Warmind in Destiny 2

Recommended Videos

Destiny 2’s new expansion, Warmind, has finally released. With it comes a whole new story mode, following Ana Bray, a legendary guardian searching for her past, and for the ancient AI Rasputin, the center of a powerful interplanetary defense system. If you’re ready to follow Ana and save the Solar System from the Frozen Hive, here’s what you need to do play Warmind.

After you’ve updated your game to the most recent patch (Hotfix 1.2.0.1), load up your game. Once you’ve loaded in, open your Director and the new Mars destination should have appeared on the left side. Just like Curse of Osiris, you will have to have completed the main campaign for Destiny 2 to start this content. Once you start the mission, you will be greeted with two brief cut scenes, one narrated by Commander Zavala, the Titan Vanguard and the previously released scene featuring Ana Bray from the reveal livestream. After the cut scene, you will be greeted with Ice and Shadow, the first mission of Warmind.

And that’s all you need to know to get started on this latest expansion adventure in Bungie’s shared-world shooter. If you’re looking for more tips, tricks, and information on Destiny 2, check out our wiki.
