Shadowkeep marks the first expansion in Destiny history to bring with it a Season Pass, a track that allows both paid and free players a chance to earn amazing loot by leveling it up. Some of the rewards on the track include glimmer, legendary shards, exotic engrams, and exotic weapons.

One of those exotic weapons included in the Season Pass is Eriana’s Vow, an exotic hand cannon that has properties unlike any other hand cannon we have ever seen before.

How to Get Eriana’s Vow in Destiny 2

Eriana’s Vow is given to both paid and free players as a reward for leveling up the newly introduced Season Pass in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep.

The first season is entitled The Season of The Undying and will be given to any player that purchases the Shadowkeep expansion, but will also be available to purchase individually for $10.

To claim it, go the director by pressing in the options button on Xbox One and the touch pad on PS4. Then tab on over to seasons. From there, you’l see the ability to claim your level 1 premium reward for Eriana’s Vow if you have purchased Shadowkeep or the Season Pass.

For those that purchase the Shadowkeep expansion or the Season Pass individually will be considered a Season Pass holder, giving those players access to the faster track of rewards.

For the Season Pass holders, Eriana’s Vow will be unlocked at Rank 1 on the fast track of rewards for the Season Pass.

However, for anyone who does not buy the expansion or Season Pass will still have a chance to get it as well. Non-season pass holders will receive Eriana’s Vow at Rank 36.

Information, Exotic Perks, & More

Eriana’s Vow is a powerful hand cannon that has unique properties unlike any other hand cannon in the game. This hand cannon is an energy weapon that consumes and uses special ammo.

What sets Eriana’s Vow apart from the other hand cannons is that it is the first one to contain a scope. This means that players can use it in more long-range situations, giving the gun far more versatility than the hand cannons of old.

Eriana’s Vow has other interesting perks as well, listed below:

  • Looks Can Kill – This weapon fires special shield-piercing ammunition. It comes with a scope.
  • Death at First Glance – Bonus damage when aiming down sights on the opening shot of an attack. This bonus damage is preserved if the shot deals precision damage or strikes an elemental shield.

In addition to the above, it intrinsically contains the anti-barrier rounds which will be helpful for dealing with the immune barrier enemies that will appear in more difficult activities such as Ordeal Nightfalls.
