Finding Datalattice in Destiny 2

Datalattice is a resource you can find on the planet Nessus in Destiny 2. Every planet in the game has a specific resource you can collect, and these can be turned into the relevant planet vendor to increase your rep with them and work towards a faction package. As you probably know, this is helpful because faction packages include Legendary gear and weapons, and can help increase your Power level quickly early on in the game.

Every so often on Nessus, you’ll receive an objective tasking you with retrieving 10 Datalattices on the planet for extra rewards. These can be found all over the planet, and you’ll recognize them by their vertical white glowing masses. However, if you’re looking to farm them quickly, the Tangle seems to be a good spot for that.

As you can see in the video above by Massive Trigger Gaming, the Vex time gate in the Tangle leads you to another area on Nessus that’s filled with Vex and several stalks of Datalattice as well. You can easily grab about three or four in this area, and then reload the instance (you might have to do this a few times) to get them to respawn. We suggest completing patrols and other adventures on Nessus while hunting for the Datalattice, though, as simply trying to grind for them can become very tiresome very quickly.
