What the New Max Level Cap Is in Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris

Recommended Videos

Destiny 2’s first expansion, Curse of Osiris, has finally arrived, adding in some new story missions, weapons, and end game content. Of course, with new enemies and trials to test your skills against, many players may be wondering if Curse of Osiris ups the max level cap in Destiny 2.

Well, there’s some good news for all of you who reached the original max level cap and want to get grinding away again. The expansion raises the max level cap from 20 to 25. Whether or not there will actually be new abilities for your Guardian to unlock as you make your way through these new levels remains to be seen, but hey, at least you’ve got one more reason to keep running those Strikes and the Raid.

The expansion also raises the max Power level in Destiny 2. Previously, players would max out at 305 Power, however, Curse of Osiris raises this up to 330 Power, and 335 if you use your Mods right.

That’s all you need to know about the raised max level cap and power cap in Curse of Osiris. For more on the expansion and the base game itself, be sure to check out our comprehensive Destiny 2 wiki.
