Demon’s Souls was originally released for the PS3 but never really got much traction until From Software struck gold with Dark Souls and its subsequent sequels. Fast forward to today, and Bluepoint Games has released a full remake of the PS3 classic for the new PS5, and it comes with plenty of new features. Here’s how to use Photo Mode in Demon’s Souls.
Using Photo Mode in Demon’s Souls
Most modern video game releases these days come with a photo mode that you can play around with and use to take pretty screenshots to share with your friends, and Demon’s Souls now has that feature as well.
To use photo mode, all you have to do is press the touchpad on the DualSense controller, then select the Photo Mode option all the way to the right of the quick item menu. This will pause the game if you’re currently playing solo, and you’ll be able to fiddle with quite a few options to get the perfect picture.
You can select from a variety of filters, including a Classic filter that makes the game look more like the original PS3 version, and you can even alter your character’s facial expression and change their pose. Once you’ve selected all that, you can then angle the camera to get the shot you want, then press the Share button to capture the screenshot and save it on your PS5 hard drive.
From the console itself, you’ll be able to check out all the screenshots you’ve taken and share them to your social media platform of choice. One thing to note, though, is that if you’re playing with other players, entering photo mode won’t actually pause the game and it’s totally possible for you to still get killed especially if there are invaders present.
That’s all you need to know about how to use photo mode in Demon’s Souls. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
