Killing Deathloop’s Visionaries one by one is fine for collecting Slabs and Trinkets, but you won’t break the loop unless you can find a way to take out multiple targets in the same area. Finding a way to kill Frank without having to even visit his club is one step toward that goal. Here’s how to sabotage Frank’s fireworks and which answer is correct in Deathloop.
How to Sabotage Frank’s Fireworks
To sabotage Frank’s fireworks you will need to discover the password to his lockup in Karl’s Bay. This is found in Otto’s workshop at noon, which is located in Updaam, so that’s your first port of call. You will, however, first need to go in the morning as the workshop will actually catch fire and burn down in the afternoon. What you need to do, then, is find a way to stop the fire from occurring in the first place.
Thankfully, it’s simple. Visit in the morning and explore the area to notice that it is running loudly (and will likely catch fire). All you need to do is destroy the generators that are powering the machine. You can track their location by following the glowing cables along the ground. You will need to be careful of all the Eternalists in the area. After you’re done, return at noon to read Otto’s computer files and gain Frank’s security code.
After discovering the code you will be able to open the lock up Karl’s Bay, which is behind Hanger 2 (where Harriett is located). Enter, then select one of four different options. The correct option is to tamper with the rain flaps to sabotage the fireworks — a lead that you will actually uncover after inspecting a recording player in Frank’s safe room. You don’t technically have to go and find that lead, though, if you are reading this and have not done so already.
By entering the answer ‘Jam the Rain Flaps,’ it will advance the questline without having to go and rerun Karl’s Rock and once again take out Frank. Frank will now die as you’re exploring Updaam at night time.
