Is Darksiders 3 Coming to the Nintendo Switch?

Recommended Videos

Today, THQ Nordic and Gunfire Games announced Darksiders 3 exists and is due to release sometime in 2018. Of course, with the Nintendo Switch promising better third-party support than its predecessor managed, fans will be asking if the game is coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Unfortunately, we have to be the bearers of bad news this time around. It looks like Darksiders 3 won’t be making its way to the Nintendo Switch. According to the IGN First announcement, the title is “scheduled to release sometime in 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Additionally, Darksiders 3’s Amazon listing doesn’t include an option for the Switch. While it may not be set to launch day and date with the other platforms, there’s always a chance the game could come to the Switch at a later date. After all, we did see Darksiders 2 eventually make its way to the Wii U, perhaps the same will happen for the Nintendo Switch.

We’ll be sure to update you if THQ Nordic or Gunfire Games make any announcements regarding a Switch version of the game. For now, though, it looks like we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
