How to get the Aquamarine Dagger in Dark Souls III The Ringed City

Recommended Videos

Undoubtedly one of the coolest new weapons to be introduced into Dark Souls III via The Ringed City expansion is the Aquamarine Dagger. To get this weapon, jump down from where the Old Hag is located and head across the bridge to the broken courtyard full of crawling enemies. Either kill them, or just run by if you don’t have the time, and head left past the mage. Go up the staircase and you should see a giant headless guard waiting for you at the top of some rubble.

This is one of Dark Souls III The Ringed City’s newest enemies and he can be quite challenging if you don’t know how to properly attack. Once the fight begins, quickly run up the stairs on your right and try to perform a plunging attack. Unlike other enemies, this will trigger a special animation where your character will deal an insane amount of damage to this foe. Now all you will need to do is finish him off with some quick stabs, and the mighty enemy will fall before you. Then head up the stairs and you will find this weapon laying amongst some rubble.

The Aquamarine Dagger will require players to have 5 Strength, 14 Dexterity, and 18 Intelligence to properly use. This dagger’s weapon skill allows players to transform it into a straight sword and access a completely new moveset. There are a lot of different items in The Ringed City expansion, but the Aquamarine Dagger has the potential to be one of the better PvP weapons in the game.
