How to Get All Relics in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled

When playing the Aventure Mode there are three different challenges that you’ll have to work your way through to complete each stage area/stage.

First, you’ll need to finish first in all four races to acquire the first-place trophies. Following that, you’ll have the opportunity to take on the stage’s boss and earn a Boss Key. Finally, you’ll have the opportunity to repeat each race in a special Relic Race.

Relics are obtained by scoring the lowest elapsed time in a solo relic race, in which players will need to smash Time Crates to extend the timer. Depending on the number shown on the crate as you hit it, the timer will freeze by either 1,2, or 3 seconds. Hitting all the Time Crates results in a ‘bonus’ award, which will decrease your final time be 10 seconds.

There are three types of relics: Sapphire, Gold, and Platinum. Sapphire is the easiest to obtain, while Platinum is the hardest. You’ll need to score the fastest and lowest time to achieve Platinum.

Once players have unlocked all 18 Relics, they’ll face off against Nitros Oxide once again for an alternative ending.
