HOW TO BEAT N. GIN IN CRASH BANDICOOT N. SANE TRILOGY

N. Gin is the second to last boss in the second and third Crash Bandicoot games and is the boss you face before taking on N. Cortex.

In Crash Bandicoot 2, you move along a short platform as N. Gin attacks you from a spaceship type machine. You are able to fire apples at his ship, taking out the engines when they open to take away his health. You will have to avoid lasers as you move along the platform.

Once you have taken out the two lasers, N. Gin will fire at you from launchers on the top of his ship. It will fire at two of the platforms and you’ll have to stand at the one he isn’t aiming at. You take the launchers out in the same way as the laser weapons. He’ll then take out one platform (whichever you are standing on at the start), and then another, and you’ll have to shoot at the weapon on the front of his ship whenever you have the chance. Hitting it once will take him out and let you defeat him. Hitting the weapons is tough but it is best to continue firing your own weapon and hope that you hit them.

In Crash 3, you face N. Gin from a smaller space ship while he is in a much larger Transformers style robot. As in the fight in the second game, you need to fire at the yellow opening weapons. You also need to fire at the missiles that he is firing from his own weapons. Then, his ship will change shape so that it is a smaller target. Once you have taken out his weapons you will have defeated him. It is easier than the boss fight in the second game.
