Concrete Genie is a beautiful new exclusive for the PS4, which follows the story of Ash as he tries to recovered the scattered pages of his sketchbook that was stolen by bullies. He’ll also need to light up bulbs in each of the game’s zones in order to push back the darkness and bring life and light back to Denska. Here’s how to find unlit bulbs in Concrete Genie.

Finding Unlit Bulbs in Concrete Genie

Concrete Genie’s unlit bulbs need to be lit up to advance through the main story, as it requires you to light up each zone before you can move onto the next one and find the next scattered page. After you’ve lit up every zone, you can advance to the next area proper on this wild ride.

Unlit bulbs can be found through simply exploring the town of Denska that Concrete Genie takes place in. However, ain’t nobody got time for aimless milling around the streets when there’s lots of art and genie-related goodness to sink your teeth into.

To find unlit bulbs quickly in Concrete Genie, simply press the Options button on your controller to open up the map, and then scroll down to the Lights tab by pressing down on the d-pad. Any unlit bulbs will appear as white, while any lit bulbs will be marked as yellow on the map.

Once you’ve done this, it’s simply a case of running over to the locations of the white light bulbs on your map and lighting them up.

How to Light Up Bulbs

When you’ve found one of these bulbs you still need to light up in Concrete Genie, all you need to do is press R2 to equip your paintbrush, and then paint anything under and around them.

Doing so will cause the bulb to light up and push the darkness further back, allowing you to continue on with your adventure in the game.
