Sometimes you can shoot a zombie in the head and be done with it. Other times, you might want to get a bit messy. Here’s how to dismember limbs in The Pit on IX in CoD Black Ops 4 Zombies to get the ‘The Slaughterhouse’ trophy or achievement.

The trifecta of Call of Duty multiplayer goodness has finally arrived in the form of Treyarch’s CoD Black Ops 4. While the usual multiplayer affair has seen some improvements over the last entry in Treyarch’s series, it’s joined this time by a new Zombies mode, as well as a battle royale mode called Blackout. For this guide, however, we’re going to be focusing on Black Ops 4 Zombies. Specifically, how to dismember limbs in The Pit. After all, if you want to get the ‘The Slaughterhouse’ trophy or achievement, you’ll be required to do exactly this.

First off, let’s run you through a few things you need to know about grabbing ‘The Slaughterhouse’ trophy or achievement in CoD Black Ops 4. You’ll need to be playing IX in the Zombies mode, and actually be in The Pit. The achievement is awarded to players for dismembering 13 limbs in a single game while in The Pit. Chances are, however, you might not yet know how to get to The Pit in IX. Let’s run you through all of that, first.

How to Get to The Pit in IX in Black Ops 4 Zombies

From your starting point in the center of the arena, you’re going to want to head over to your right and through an archway with red and yellow banners hanging overhead. Keep heading forward until you reach a stone archway leading into a tomb-looking area. You’ll see a sphinx statue on your right. Keep heading past this and down the stairs, past the Anubis statue on your left.

You’ll keep heading down some stairs until you reach the Burial Chamber room with the large sarcophagus in the center. Make your way around this and head to the opposite corner of the room that you came in from. Take a left at the bottom of the stairs and follow the path round as it bends right.

You should eventually find yourself in the Fallen Hero section of the map, with an old stone statue all crumbled up on the floor. Open the door for 1500 points just across from where you came in. You’ll now find yourself in The Pit in IX on Black Ops 4 Zombies. Now, time to get ‘The Slaughterhouse’ trophy and achievement by dismembering limbs.

How to Dismember Limbs in The Pit

To actually dismember limbs in The Pit, there’s really not a whole lot to it. All you need to do is get a weapon of your choosing, and start gunning down zombies within this area. As long as the top-left corner of the screen says you’re in ‘The Pit’ then any limbs you manage to dismember off zombies in here will count.

Fortunately, there’s no specific weapon you need to use for this trophy or achievement. You can use any, but just focus on killing zombies in this area without aiming for headshots. Aiming for bodies and limbs is the best way to dismember limbs in The Pit on IX. You’ll need to dismember limbs 13 times in order to unlock the ‘The Slaughterhouse’ achievement or trophy.

That’s everything you need to know to dismember limbs in The Pit and Black Ops 4 Zombies as a whole. For plenty more tips, tricks, and guides on the game, be sure to check out our CoD Black Ops 4 guide wiki. We’ve also included some of our most popular guides down below for your perusal.
