How to Get Serket’s Kiss in Call of Duty Black Ops 4
Getting Serket’s Kiss on IX is going to be a priority for those trophy and achievement hunters out there playing CoD Black Ops 4. The trophy and achievement Gift of Serket states, “In IX, acquire Serket’s Kiss.” Simply follow this guide, and the trophy or achievement will be yours.
Gift of Serket is a bronze trophy for PS4 players and an achievement worth 15 Gamerscore in the Xbox One version of Black Ops 4.
The most important thing to know is just what the requirement means. IX is the name of a Zombies map in Black Ops 4. This means that the achievement can only be earned in the game’s Zombies mode.
Serket’s Kiss is an enhanced weapon that needs to be found and acquired on the map. As soon as it is picked up, you will be rewarded with your trophy or achievement.
Your first round of Zombies on the IX map may take you by surprise considering just how different this map is to any map throughout the Call of Duty series. The Black Ops 4 characters have traveled back in time to a Roman stadium. It’s something that you’d expect to see in a game like Ryse: Son of Rome but maybe not Call of Duty.
In any case, the rules remain the same. It’s still Zombies, and you have to survive for as long as possible, holding off hoards of the undead as you do so.
Of course, that’s not your main goal for the purpose of today. You’re here to acquire the Serket’s Kiss and nab a sweet trophy or achievement in the process.
So, in order to get Serket’s Kiss, there are a bunch of steps that you’ll have to take. Firstly, the Pack a Punch machine will have to be activated. To do this, kill the four champion’s in each god’s alter room (Ra, Danu, Zeus, and Odin).
After this, head on over to the room with the Pack a Punch machine. In front of the machine, outside of the accessible area, there will be a flaming bowl which will need to be shot.
Next, you’ll need to obtain one of four available statue heads from any of the gods’ tower’s basements. The easiest to locate is the one in Zeus’ bathhouse. It can be found in one of the four corners of the bath.
Now, you’re going to need to create the acid trap, which is a journey in itself. Your first port of call is the arena, which is the area where you begin IX. Around the edge of the arena you’ll notice that each god has their own banner, and next to each one is a rope. Use your knife to cut one of the ropes to enable challenges.
Once a challenge is completed, you will be rewarded with certain items/weapons in the center of the arena. Upon completing your third challenge, a cauldron will spawn. This is the first part for building the acid trap, so pick it up.
Then you’re going to need to head on over to the Pack a Punch room once more. Hug the right wall and make your way into the smaller siderooms. One part, a cog, will be in the floor in the corner of one of these siderooms. The final part, the chain, is hanging on a wall next to a barrel in the corner of one of these siderooms.
Lastly for the acid trap, you’re going to need to find somewhere to build it. This can be done along the hallway connecting the arena to Zeus’ tower. The trap handle is sitting on the wall. After building the acid trap, put the statue head down on the trap door on the floor next to the handle. Activating the trap will cause the head to dissolve, revealing your prize: a key. Be sure to pick up the key before moving on to the next step.
Next, spend some time killing zombies in the arena until you progress through two rounds and your “like” meter in the bottom left of the screen turns into a green thumb. Eventually, the crowd will be impressed and throw you a gift. This gift comes in the form of a small, gold vase. After they’ve thrown the gift, it can be found on the floor in the arena.
With vase and key in hand, head on down to Danu’s basement. Here, you will find a set of trees, one of which will have a hole in it. Using a melee attack on this hole will insert the key. When the poison starts flowing, place the vase on the floor underneath it to catch it.
Progress one more round, then pick up the vase. Make your way to the mystery box in Danu’s basement and use the poison on the box. This will guarantee that the weapon that spawns is the Death of Orion, which you’ll need to grab.
Almost there. Your final stop is the Pack a Punch room once again. Simply place the Death of Orion into the Pack a Punch machine to turn it into a Serket’s Kiss. Retrieve the weapon and your reward will pop. Now, you’re one step closer to earning that platinum trophy or 1000G. Congratulations!
