There is an objective in Bus Simulator 18 that requires you to purchase and drive a CNG bus. You don’t start the game with a CNG bus, and will have to unlock it in order to progress. Unfortunately, it might take a little bit of grinding.

CNG refers to the bus’s engine type. While a majority of the buses in the game use diesel, there are a few that use CNG. You can tell if a bus is a CNG bus when looking at its stats in the bus garage. The easiest CNG bus to get in the game is the Iveco Urbanway 12m. Not only is it the easiest to unlock, but also the cheapest at €330,000. You unlock the ability to purchase the Iveco Urbanway 12m by reaching level nine.

At this point in the game, you likely won’t be at the required level to get the Iveco Urbanway 12m, but you probably won’t be too far off, either. It won’t take you too long to reach level nine, so just go on a couple of trips to gain some experience, and you should be there in no time. Luckily, this is really the only part of the game where you’ll have to do a little bit of grinding to progress.
