How to Get the Electric Banjo in Borderlands 3

The Electric Banjo is a cool Legendary Artifact you can get in the game, and the good news is that it can be randomly dropped from any loot source in Borderlands 3. Of course, the flip side is that since there’s no specific boss to farm for the Artifact, you’ll need to get lucky with your drops.

However, it’s worth noting that the Psychobillies found on Eden-6 in the Ambermire area do seem to have a higher chance of dropping the Electric Banjo, so you’ll want to farm those enemies for it.

In addition to that, playing on a higher Mayhem tier or playing the game in True Vault Hunter Mode can also increase your Legendary drop rates. This does increase the game’s difficulty a little, so you’ll want to make sure that you’re well-equipped to deal with the increased challenge.

Electric Banjo Perks

Like all other weapons and equipment in Borderlands 3, the stats on the Electric Banjo are random and based on your level. However, it comes with one fixed perk that can be very useful to Shock builds.

  • We never could have foreseen the success: 20% chance for each shot landed to arc electricity to a nearby enemy, dealing Shock damage.

In addition to that, having this equipped also increases your own Shock damage and resistance.

How do you get the Electric Banjo in Borderlands 3?

It’s a random drop from any loot source. Your best bet is to farm the Psychobillies in Eden-6, while playing with Mayhem Mode activated or in True Vault Hunter Mode.
