With Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Treyarch and Activision are abandoning the single-player story campaign altogether. Instead, the focus is on the multiplayer modes this time around. Players will still be getting all the core traditional multiplayer modes like Team Deathmatch and Domination, as well as the new Blackout battle royale mode, and Zombies, of course. Because there’s such a heavy focus on multiplayer, you’re definitely gonna want to look unique when you encounter other players, and you can do that with the emblem system. Here’s what you need to know about how to create a custom emblem in Black Ops 4.

Changing Your Emblem in CoD Black Ops 4

Every player will start out with a default emblem and calling card in Black Ops 4. To change this and create your very own custom emblem, you’ll first want to hit the Player option from the game’s main menu.

From here, you’ll be able to see all your stats and achievements across all your matches so far. You should also see the Emblem Editor option, which allows you to change your player emblem, and create a whole new one if you wish. The Editor in Black Ops 4  is actually pretty robust, and it comes with tons of customization options and little details you can use to really personalize your emblem. Once you’re done and happy with how it turned out, don’t forget to save it before exiting the Editor.

Whenever you want to change your custom emblem in Black Ops 4, just head back to the Player menu to customize your stuff. The cool thing about the custom emblem feature is that it can be applied to your weapons as well, just in case it wasn’t enough showing it off in the pre-match lobbies. You can also change your calling card from the Player menu, and even more calling cards can be unlocked as you level up and continue to play Black Ops 4.

Customizing your emblem in Black Ops 4 can take up quite a bit of time, but it’s also a very rewarding process, especially if you’re part of a clan and want everyone to have matching player identities in a lobby. Having a good-looking custom emblem is also a neat way to attract more people to your clan and foster a sense of unity, so get editing.

And that’s pretty much all you need to know about how to create a custom emblem in Black Ops 4. Be sure to check our Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 wiki guide for more information and tips on the game.
