The Sims 4 Discover University is taking you back to school, as the newest DLC introduces plenty of college-themed content to explore. As with any PC release though, the mods that accompany them are just as exciting as the base content.
Some of these mods can be as simple as changing Sim’s appearance, while others alter the way the game plays entirely.
With that in mind, here are five of the best Sims 4 Discover University mods you can’t play without.
Ferris State North Bond Hall
One of the best parts about the Sims series is that players can create themselves and live out different versions of their lives vicariously through their in-game characters.
In Sims 4 Discover University this is also the case, as modders have begun creating sections of their own colleges and inputting them into the game.
While it may not be as illustrious as Zumberge Hall, Ferris State’s North Bond Hall mod is an excellent representation of the customization players can get into with the college buildings in this new piece of content.
Kid Sims Create Robot and Servos
Even though most of the mods on this list pertain to the academic studies that come along with Discover University, there are some things that kids can have fun with as well.
With this mod, kid sims are now able to create robots and servos, prepping them for their own college experiences in the near future.
It should be noted that servos return in this new DLC for the first time since The Sims 2: Open for Business.
University Class Events
Though the point of college is to learn and prepare yourself for your career and the real world, there is no point in doing all of that if you don’t get to have fun every now and then.
With the University Class Event mod, let loose and reward students with an event made simply so that they can socialize and have a good time. Be sure to keep an eye out for RAs if you’ll be doing any unseemly things that could get you in trouble.
Different Bicycles
Everyone knows that the only way you can afford to get around the large campuses that make up most colleges without going broke is to ride your bicycle.
Sims 4 Discover University once again features bikes to help your character get around quicker. This mod adds a little more flavor and style to that mobility, allowing for different bicycle designs alongside the standard one.
With three different looks, a handful of different colors, and even wheel variations, you won’t even mind having to cruise around on a bike instead of a car across campus.
New Starter House
It is no secret that college dorms aren’t always the most comfortable of living spaces. Thankfully, like everything else on this list, Sims 4 Discover University allows you to customize your living space to fit your needs.
Thanks to this new starter house mod, create an environment that is the most conducive to learning, as you’ll take over a lot and make a brand new house for your sim to live in.
