Museum Artifacts Reimagined

Best New Stardew Valley Mods October 2021

museum artifacts reimagined

To start off our best mods from October, we want to share this mod that reimagines the artifacts that are donated to the museum. It replaces each of the sprites with more detailed and historically accurate versions with edited names and descriptions.

Not only are the artifacts in this mod more historically inspired, but they are more detailed visually that increases lore immersion. An example of this is a prehistoric creature skeleton that actually fits together realistically.

The mod is a simple sprite swap so it should be compatible with mostly everything. If you want your museum artifacts to be more detailed and realistic, you’ll want to download the mod right here.

Crop Variety

crop variety

Similar to the museum artifacts reimagined mod above, this next mod adds more detailed texture variations to the crops and flowers of Stardew Valley.

It adds over 120 texture variations for these items, and every crop and flower has at least three unique variations. These can be subtle but make a difference in the immersion; two potato sprouts next to each other would look slightly different in real life, so that’s what this mod hopes to achieve.

These sprite variations only affect the overworld textures, so harvested crops look normal in your inventory in order for them to take up only a single slot. You can download the crop variety mod right here.

Lambeeron’s Oversized Sleeves

Puffy, oversized sleeves are totally in style in right now, so with this mod you can make your Stardew Valley character just as fashionable during both the warm spring and summer seasons as well as the chilly autumn and winter seasons.

There are three options for sleeve cuffs: plain, rounded, and white. The sleeves can also vary for each of the four seasons, completely configurable to whichever you prefer the most.

Never let your Stardew Valley character go out of style; you can download the mod right here.

If It Fits I Sits – More Map Seats

if it fits i sits

This cool mod adds the ability to sit on various map tiles, such as on the hood of trucks, some counters, riverbanks, and more. There are over 50 map tiles in this mod that you can sit on in order to add a sense of realism and charm while you’re out and about in the valley.

The creator of the mod explained that they avoided tiles that almost always have additional items layered on top and tiles that have important actions associated with them in order to prevent problems with sitting. All you have to do is right click on a spot that looks like it could be a good seat for your farmer.

You can download the If It Fits I Sits mod right here.

Of course, you can learn these recipes in a variety of ways, such as from other characters, level-up rewards, and the Queen of Sauce. To add this Community Center category to your game, download the mod right here.
