How to Sprint and Run Faster in Assassin’s Creed Origins

Recommended Videos

Assassin’s Creed has always been a series with a huge focus on fluid movement and it was one of the key elements that made the original game so exciting. With Assassin’s Creed Origins’ move to Egypt, which is a more open environment that the cities we’re used to, there will be many places to sprint or run to.

Assassin’s Creed Origins actually does away with the need for a sprint button. Instead of holding down X (or A on Xbox One) to run faster like in previous entries in the series, Bayek will sprint if you have the left analog stick at full tilt in any direction. For example, if you want to walk around, you’ll only want to move it in the direction you want to move a tiny bit. Then, when you want to run faster, you’ll want to tilt it the whole way. It’s a more streamlined system, though it does take some time to get used to X (or A) not having any impact on your running speed.

That is how you sprint and run faster in Assassin’s Creed: Origins. For more tips, tricks and guides, be sure to check out our wiki.
