How to Use Your Bow and Arrows in Assassin’s Creed Origins
Assassin’s Creed Origins takes things further back in time than the series has been before, putting players into the shoes of Bayek, one of the first Assassins in history. As the game takes place in Ancient Egypt, you’ll have a whole repertoire of weapons and items to use while fighting enemies or the wild animals of the country. In addition to plenty of melee weapons, as you might expect you’ll also get a bow and arrows to get the job done. Being able to keep enemies at a distance is important in combat in Assassin’s Creed Origins, especially if you’re low on health or find yourself overwhelmed by hordes of enemies.
Using the bow is pretty simple luckily, all you need to do is hit left on the D-pad to switch to your ranged weapon, when you have a bow or other ranged weapon equipped. Once you have it equipped, hold down on the left trigger to free aim your bow, and you’ll zoom in a bit as you hold it down. Then just hit right trigger to fire the weapon. Of course, remember you do have limited ammo with the bow, so keep an eye on that or try and pick up more as you fight. Make use of both your close range and long range abilities to overcome the different challenges that Assassin’s Creed Origins throws at you.
