Everything You Get in the Season Pass for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is one of the most ambitious entries in the franchise yet, with a massive open world that presents a ton of different options for players. In addition to the usual main story and sidequests, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey introduces dialogue choices and romance options. It’s definitely more of a true RPG, even over 2017’s Origins. Of course, certain traditions still carry over to Odyssey, and that includes the game getting a season pass. Ubisoft is trying to keep players with Odyssey for months to come, providing a ton of post-launch content. Here’s everything you get in the optional season pass.

How Much the Season Pass Costs

First things first, the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey season pass will cost you an additional $40, but it’s also included in the Gold and Ultimate editions of the game.

The pass will get you access to two major story add-ons in the form of episodic adventures. This is as well as two remastered games from the very series, too.

What You Get in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s Season Pass

The first episodic adventure in the season pass is Legacy of the First Blade. This will see players fight alongside the very first hero to wield a hidden blade. The first episode will release in December. Subsequent episodes will be released roughly six weeks apart.

The second episodic adventure is The Fate of Atlantis. It’ll see players take on mythical creatures while uncovering the fate of the legendary sunken city. The first episode will hit in Spring 2019, with subsequent episodes roughly six weeks apart.

The final piece of included content is Assassin’s Creed III Remastered and Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation Remastered. These are updated versions of the two games with overhauled graphics and tweaked systems. It also includes all DLC, like the Tyranny of King Washington. You can see more about Assassin’s Creed III Remastered at Ubisoft’s official page. The remastered games are scheduled to arrive in March 2019.

It should also be noted that all owners of Odyssey will receive free post-launch content. The Lost Tales of Greece are free episodes that are supposed to release between Odyssey’s paid DLC episodes. We don’t have exact dates for these yet, but we should shortly after the game’s release. Ubisoft will also be adding in Discovery Tour again at some point. Additionally, there’ll be free daily and weekly challenges to tackle.

Ubisoft’s goal is to keep people playing the game for a long time, whether you buy the pass or not.

That covers everything you get in the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey season pass. For even more info on the game make sure to check out our Assassin’s Creed Odyssey wiki guide, or our most popular guides below. You can also read our official Odyssey review, to see what we thought of the experience.
