How to Level Up and Spend Skill Points in Agents of Mayhem

Agents of Mayhem is an action-adventure game with plenty of RPG mechanics thrown in for good measure. Part of that RPG influence comes in the form of earning XP and leveling up your agents. As you play through the game, completing missions, getting kills, and completing activities out in the open world, your Agents will level up. However, while their levels increase automatically, you actually have to go in and adjust their stats and perks manually. Don’t worry, though, it’s easy to do and you can do it at anytime as long as you’re not in a cutscene.

To level up your skills in Agents of Mayhem, press the touchpad on PS4 or the menu button Xbox One, then choose the Squad tab (top one). From there, press X on PS4 or A on Xbox One to edit equipment. You can swap between your currently equipped heroes by pressing L1/R1 or LB/RB. Now scroll down to Upgrades to spend your hard earned skill points.

If you want, you can reset all of your already assigned skill points if you either make a mistake or just want to try something different for now. To do so, simply scroll down to the Reset Points button below the different perk categories, and press X/A. That’s all there is to it.
