10. Kabu
Kabu, the Fire-type gym leader of Motostoke in Sword and Shield takes the number ten spot in terms of fashion and style and good looks.
He’s just an old man that relies heavily on tradition and whatnot, and he probably just doesn’t care much about looks or whatever –he just wants to give the challengers a good fight, which is something that he should be proud of.
Sorry Kabu, but you could do a little better when it comes to picking a cool outfit to battle in. You’re the gym leader of Motostoke for crying out loud, it’s probably one of, if not, the biggest cities in the Galar region.
9. Allister
Allister’s dark, moody, and depressed emo look would have been cool and all the rage if Pokemon Sword and Shield came out in like 2006 but it’s 2019 Allister and Hot Topic is just not popular anymore… neither is Spencers.
Take that mask off, lose all of that black clothing (keep those locks), and stop slouching all of the time. You’re a great Pokemon trainer with some pretty cool Pokemon and you need to show it.
Allister won’t be winning any sort of style awards anytime soon.
8. Piers
The Gym Leader of the sad town of Spikemuth, Piers, falls into the same boat as Allister but Piers gets to be above him just because I feel like he really owns his style and isn’t doing it for anybody but himself.
He has a skull walking stick, his hair is wild with black and white streaks, and he just looks like someone that you don’t want to run into in a dark alleyway.
7. Milo
Milo is the first Gym Leader that you’ll face in the Galar region and he’s just a really cute and smiley boy that really makes you feel welcomed during your first challenge in the Galar champion cup.
He has a team full of Grass-type Pokemon and you can really tell that he must’ve grown up on a farm or something thanks to his adorable sun hat and his green attire.
He’s not the most stylish leader but just look at how nice and friendly he looks! He definitely deserves the number seven spot at least.
6. Bea
Bea is a feisty Fighting-type Gym Leader that pulls no punches in her gym challenges. She’s got her shirt tied up and you can immediately tell by her battle poses that she works out… probably does Hot Yoga too.
She could probably win first place in a triathlon, defeat some trainers, and then teach a workout session all before she’s had her lunch.
Her outfit is super adorable and perfect for the gym or just going over to her local coffee shop or something.
5. Opal
Opal may be a brittle old lady who uses cute little Fairy-type Pokemon but she comes to the battle arena with nothing but grace and charm. She might take a while to walk to the actual battlefield but once she’s all set and ready to battle, she’ll show you a thing or two.
She has a blue and pink-colored dress and an umbrella to match and she also has a massive purple scarf… I think it’s a scarf.
Opal has so much wisdom and fashion advice to share with you, but make sure you have some Poison and Steel-type moves before you face her.
4. Melony
Oh, Melony, my precious ice queen. As someone who picked up Pokemon Sword and missed out on Shield’s version exclusive Gym Leaders, I kind of regret my decision just because I wasn’t able to battle with Melony.
She excels in using Ice-type Pokemon and she just looks all cozy and warm in her puffy clothing and whatnot.
Her nails are even painted a greyish color to match the ice theme of her gym stadium… and is that a wedding ring on her finger?? I sure hope not.
3. Gordie
Gordie can do a backflip while also throwing his Poke Balls out onto the field. If that’s not stylish or cool then I really don’t know what is at this point.
Gordie loves to use Rock-type Pokemon and if you couldn’t tell by his fresh hair and fashionable sunglasses, he knows how to make quite the appearance. He also accessorizes quite nicely and matches his Ultra Ball which is a nice touch.
2. Raihan
The final Gym Leader in the Galar region is none other than the Dragon tamer Raihan. Just look at that look on his face. He’s obviously trying to seduce any challenger that comes his way and how can you not love that Dragon-themed hoodie that he’s wearing? It’s absolutely stunning!
He wants to be a dragon so bad that he just dresses the part, and it makes his battle one to remember even after you become the champion of the Galar league.
He also has a mean selfie game, and that scores him an extra few points.
1. Nessa
Nessa looks like that cool girl from High School that was always involved in clubs and other extracurricular activities. She was probably the captain of the swim team, the president of the student government, and the head of the fashion club too.
She’s so adorable and stylish and loveable that it’s so hard to not put her in the number one spot for most stylish. Just look at this fanart and you’ll see what I mean:
