All PS4 Game Releases for March 2019
(Weeks 1 – 4: Mar. 1-31)
March 2019 continues the busy start to the year for the PS4 with quite a few notable releases, and a plethora of smaller titles on top of that. Things get off to a quick start right on the very first day of the month, with the release of Dead or Alive 6, a brand new entry in the beloved fighting franchise.
Dead or Alive 6 hopes to be the most accessible entry in the franchise yet, allowing players to easily string combos together with a single button. In addition to classic characters like Ryu Hayabusa and Kasumi, a few new ones will enter the fray, like a brawler named Diego.
The very next week brings two incredibly different experiences from Square Enix and Capcom. The first is Left Alive, a brand new stealth-action game that takes place within the Front Mission universe. You’ll play as three different characters trying to survive in a city ravaged by an enemy army, and the game certainly has some Metal Gear Solid kind of vibes.
After that, we get the long-awaited return of Capcom’s premiere action series with Devil May Cry 5. Picking up after DMC 4, the title lets you play as both Dante and Nero once again, while also introducing a new character, an enigmatic young man named V.
Things don’t slow down one bit for the next week, as we get the huge release of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, letting players scrape to survive in a post-apocalyptic Washington D.C., filled with three different Dark Zones, new enemy factions, and much more.
Anime fans should also take note of the release of One Piece: World Seeker, an ambitious new open world RPG that tells an original story set on Jail Island.
Finally, March 2019 gets closed out strong by a number of promising titles on PS4, chief of which is Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. The new title from FromSoftware marks a change for the developer, putting more of an emphasis on action while still retaining the company’s trademark difficulty.
The last week of the month, you can also pick up the gorgeous-looking visual novel Our World Is Ended, the final episode of the current season (and the last we’ll ever see) of Telltale’s The Walking Dead, and a full-blown remaster of Assassin’s Creed III, which also includes Assassin’s Creed: Liberation.
